The SHS L10 Series Power Pack is a self contained unit incorporating the proven SC Hydraulic, double acting, air operated hydraulic pump, available in a range of models upto 30,000 psi (2069 Bar) and with varying flow rates upto 6.6 UK gallons per minute (30 litres). With pump hydraulic parts manufactured from stainless steel and standard models suitable for use with oil and plain water, these units are ideal where larger flows are desirable such as in accumulator pre-charging, hydrostatic pressure testing of large volume pipelines or umbilicals, chemical injection and valve actuation, where operating times may be critical.
21 3\4"x 21 3\4x 25" (550mm x 550mm x 635 high) • Approx weight:176lbs (80 kg)
SHS air operated power packs are compact and robust self contained units designed to meet the needs of today's offshore oil and gas industry where reliable sources of hydraulic power are required.
The Compact Series power pack is unique in that it can incorporate any of the proven SC air driven pumps.
Each pack contains the pump complete with air filter, regulator, lubricator, air gauge, on/off valve, hydraulic pressure gauge and gauge protective cover, outlet pressure connection block, release valve and interconnecting pipework. The equipment is mounted inside a robust steel painted framework together with a 8.5 litre fluid tank having filler breather and strainer. Each unit is factory pressure tested prior to despatch.
Standard power packs are designed for plain water or oil duty. Typical applications include hydrostatic testing, operation of hydraulic valve actuators, clamping and tensioning tools.
Various optional extras can be built in:
For optional pump materials eg. viton pump seals or special pump models; contact NTOS with details of your requirements.
15" (38cm) long x 15 1/2" (39.4cm) deep x 17 1/4" (44cm) high.
10-4 Series - 35 lbs (16kg) 10-5 / D Series - 43 lbs (19 1/2kg) 10-6 / D Series - 51 lbs (23kg)
The SHS range of gas boosters are supplied as individual pumps for inclusion in own equipment, as a complete self contained pack or in a custom made system designed by SHS to meet customers specification.
The control is by simple air regulation and the ability to stall at any predetermined pressure and hold pressure without consuming power or generating heat make them intrinsically safe.
Pumps restart automatically when outlet pressure drops below predetermined level.
Booster may be mounted horizontally or vertically with air motor uppermost.
Operating Air Drive Pressure 10-100psi (0.69 to 6.9 bar)
Maximum Air Consumption 56 scfm (95 Nm3/hr)
Weight 36 lbs (16.4 kgs)
Typical applications include pressure testing of valves, pipe work systems and recharging accumulators. Standard booster pump can be supplied with or without air controls, an exhaust muffler is provided. Suitable for use with Nitrogen gas or other inert gases, usually supplied from a standard commercial gas bottle.
